Campero (hand) will begin a rehab assignment in the Arizona Complex League on Monday.
Campero was elevated to the majors in early June before being placed on the 10-day injured list due to a fractured right hand. He sustained the injury in late May when he was hit by a pitch in Double-A, where he has an .803 OPS with 11 steals, five home runs and 26 RBI over 198 plate appearances. He could make his 2026 big-league debut with the Angels shortly after the All-Star break.
