Angels' Charles Leblanc: Lifts homer in loss

Leblanc went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Sunday's 7-4 loss to the Rangers.

Leblanc provided the bulk of the Angels' scoring with his fourth-inning blast off Andrew Heaney. The homer was his second hit in five games with the Angels this season, though the infielder has maintained a decent .254/.379/.437 slash line over 98 games with Triple-A Salt Lake. Leblanc is unlikely to see much more than short-side platoon usage over the final three weeks of the season, and even then, he's not guaranteed to play against every opposing southpaw.
