The Angels signed Wallach to a minor-league contract Tuesday.
Wallach had been at Triple-A Round Rock in the Rangers organization before being released earlier this month. The 33-year-old has a career .590 OPS over parts of seven big-league seasons and will provide some veteran catching depth at Triple-A Salt Lake.
