Rendon (knee) is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Rays.
The 30-year-old suffered a bruise on his left knee when he fouled a ball off his leg Monday, and he'll be sidelined for at least one game due to the injury. Phil Gosselin had his contract selected and will start at third base Tuesday for the Halos.
