  • Gee Scott: Back with Pats

The Patriots signed Scott to their practice squad Wednesday.

Scott spent all of training camp and preseason with the team but was unable to crack a spot on the initial roster. New England has only Hunter Henry and Austin Hooper on the active roster at tight end, so Scott is a candidate to be elevated at some point in future weeks.

  • Gee Scott: Staying in New England

Scott was signed to the Patriots' practice squad Wednesday.

Scott was not claimed on waivers after being let go by the team Tuesday, and he will now stay in New England as a member of the practice unit. The tight end will look to earn an elevation to the active roster and make his NFL debut in 2025.
