Gray posted 11 tackles (six solo) and two pass defenses during the Titans' 16-13 loss to the Texans on Sunday.
Gray played every single defensive snap for the first time this season and logged double-digit tackles for the sixth time in seventh games, though he finished second on the Titans in tackles behind Darrell Baker (12). Gray mostly served on special teams across seven regular-season games in 2024, but the second-year linebacker has stepped up in a big way during his sophomore campaign. He is up to 102 combined tackles through 10 regular-season games, which is third most in the NFL behind Jordyn Brooks (125) and Bobby Wagner (107).

Titans' Cedric Gray: Logs 16 tackles, sack in Week 9
Gray registered 16 tackles (11 solo), including 1.0 sacks, during the Titans' 27-20 loss to the Chargers on Sunday.
After logging just five stops in Week 8, Gray bounced back with another monster effort. Eleven of his 16 stops were solo, including his first sack of the 2025 campaign, when he took down Justin Herbert for a seven-yard loss early in the fourth quarter. Titans' Cedric Gray: Nearing return
Gray (shoulder) was activated from injured reserve Monday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Gray was designated to return from IR on Oct. 7, opening his 21-day practice window. With that window set to close, Tennessee moved the North Carolina product to the 53-man roster, and he is seemingly ready to make his NFL debut Sunday against the Patriots.

Gray will need to wait at least one more week before making his NFL debut. The rookie linebacker has been on IR since the start of the campaign but was designated to return Oct. 7. Though he won't play against the Patriots on Sunday, Gray was able to log a trio of full practices this week. His 21-day practice window expires Monday, so Tennessee will need to either activate him then or rule him out for the remainder of the campaign.
