Top Tank Bigsby News

  • Eagles' Tank Bigsby: Still stuck on special teams

Bigsby was limited to special teams duties Sunday against the Broncos, returning a pair of kicks for 44 yards.

Bigsby hasn't played a single offensive snap since being acquired by the Eagles after Week 1. He's the fourth running back on the Eagles' depth chart, so even an injury to Saquon Barkley likely wouldn't be enough for him to move into a meaningful role.

  • Eagles' Tank Bigsby: Limited to return duties

Bigsby didn't play a single offensive snap in Sunday's 31-25 win over the Buccaneers.

The Eagles acquired Bigsby from the Jaguars after Week 1 but have yet to make him part of the offensive gameplan. He's been used as a kick returner but hasn't seen the field on offense in any of his three games with his new team. With Will Shipley back from an oblique injury, Bigsby is now the fourth running back on the depth chart.

  • Eagles' Tank Bigsby: No offensive snaps again

Bigsby saw zero offensive snaps for the second straight week Sunday against the Rams.

Bigsby recorded five carries in Week 1 while still a member of the Jaguars, but a trade to Philadelphia has left him third on a depth chart that has Saquon Barkley at the top, leaving little room for anyone else. Barkley was the only running back to receive any carries in Week 3, while backup running back AJ Dillon saw the field for just five offensive snaps. Bigsby's only action came on special teams, where he returned two kicks for 24 yards.

  • Eagles' Tank Bigsby: No offensive snaps in Eagles debut

Bigsby did not see the field for any offensive snaps in his Eagles debut Sunday against the Chiefs.

Acquired from the Jaguars for a fifth- and sixth-round draft pick at the start of the week, Bigsby was not yet part of the Eagles' offensive gameplan. His only snaps came on special teams. He'll compete with Will Shipley (ribs) and AJ Dillon for the backup role behind Saquon Barkley once he's more integrated with his new team.
