Rams' Steve Avila: Activated Monday
Avila (knee) was activated from injured reserve Monday.
Avila sustained a knee injury in the Rams' Week 1 loss to the Lions and hasn't taken the field since. However, his activation indicates that he'll make his return in Monday night's matchup against the Dolphins. Now that Avila has moved past his knee issue, he's expected to serve as the Rams' top center.

Rams' Steve Avila: Gets okay to practice again
The Rams designated Avila (knee) for return to practice from their injured reserve list Thursday.
Avila needed surgery to address a sprained MCL he suffered in Week 1 at Detroit, but it seems he's now close to playing again for the first time since then. The Rams' official practice reports during the week should shed some light on his potential availability for Monday's game versus the Dolphins.
