Jashaun Corbin: Lands on PS injured list
The Patriots placed Corbin (undisclosed) on the practice squad injured list Tuesday.
The nature and severity of Corbin's injury aren't clear, but his placement on the practice squad IL means he is ineligible to be elevated to the Patriots' active roster for at least the next four games. Fellow running backs Rushawn Baker and Jonathan Ward were signed to New England's practice squad in corresponding moves.

Jashaun Corbin: Signs with New England
The Patriots signed Corbin to the practice squad Tuesday, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
With Antonio Gibson done for the season after tearing his ACL in Sunday night's Week 5 win over the Bills, Corbin will provide depth behind Rhamondre Stevenson and TreVeyon Henderson. Along with Corbin, the Patriots also employ Terrell Jennings on the practice squad.

Jashaun Corbin: Waived by Atlanta
The Falcons waived Corbin on Tuesday, Marc Raimondi of ESPN.com reports.
Corbin logged 66 offensive snaps this preseason, finishing with 18 carries for 59 yards across three exhibitions. Corbin last appeared in a regular-season game back in 2023, when he produced one rushing yard on one attempt and caught three passes for 12 yards across six contests with the Giants.

Falcons' Jashaun Corbin: Finds running room Friday
Corbin carried the ball 11 times for 51 yards and caught one of two targets for minus-4 yards in Friday's 31-13 preseason loss to the Cowboys. He added 47 yards on two kickoff returns.
The UFL's rushing leader in 2025 got the first touch out of the backfield in Atlanta's exhibition finale, but Corbin's biggest gain came on the team's first drive of the second half, when he scampered for 19 yards. Bijan Robinson and Tyler Allgeier are locked into the top two spots on the running back depth chart, but the No. 3 role could be wide open with Carlos Washington (hamstring) having missed the entire preseason. Nathan Carter and Elijah Dotson are also still in the mix.

Falcons' Jashaun Corbin: Just one carry Friday
Corbin had one rushing attempt for one yard and no targets in Friday's exhibition against the Lions.
Corbin was the first back to receive a carry with starter Bijan Robinson and primary backup Tyler Allgeier sitting out Friday's contest. Unfortunately for Corbin, who led the UFL in rushing with 514 yards this past spring as a member of the San Antonio Brahmas, the one-yard tote wound up being the 25-year-old's only touch of the evening. Corbin will look to get more run in next Friday's preseason tilt against the Titans as he attempts to earn a roster spot with Atlanta.

Falcons' Jashaun Corbin: Gets chance with Falcons
Atlanta signed Corbin (undisclosed) to a contract Tuesday, Terrin Waack of the team's official site reports.
Corbin spent time with the Giants last offseason but was waived/injured ahead of Week 1. He then resurfaced with the San Antonio Brahmas and led the UFL in rushing yards during the 2025 season. His only NFL action came in 2023, when he handled primarily a special-teams role for the Giants in six regular-season games. The Falcons waived Jase McClellan (knee) in a corresponding move.

Giants' Jashaun Corbin: Goes on IR
Corbin (undisclosed) reverted to the Giants' injured reserve Tuesday after clearing waivers, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Now that he's on IR, Corbin will be forced to miss the entire 2024 season unless he is waived with an injury settlement. He appeared in six-regular season games for the Giants in 2023, playing 14 snaps on offense and 117 snaps on special teams.

Jashaun Corbin: Dropped by G-Men
The Giants waived Corbin (undisclosed) with an injury designation Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Corbin spent his 2023 campaign with the Giants and was fighting for a depth role as a special-teams asset before being waived with an injury designation Monday. If the Florida State product clears waivers, he'll revert to New York's injured reserve list and miss all of the team's 2024 campaign unless the two parties agree to an injury settlement.

Giants' Jashaun Corbin: Primarily special-teamer in 2023
Corbin saw action in six games during the regular season, carrying once for one yard and catching all three of his targets for 12 yards.
All of Corbin's action on offense came during a blowout loss to Dallas in Week 10. The third-year back was otherwise relegated to special-teams work, and he spent the first six weeks of the campaign on Carolina's practice squad. Corbin is one of three Giants running backs (along with Eric Gray and Gary Brightwell) under contract for next season, while Saquon Barkley and Matt Breida are slated to be free agents. It remains to be seen, however, if New York has seen enough from Corbin to consider him a part of its future plans.
