Dolphins' Jaylen Waddle: Leads pass catchers again in loss
Waddle secured six of nine targets for 82 yards in the Dolphins' 28-6 loss to the Ravens on Thursday night.
Waddle tied for the team lead in receptions with De'Von Achane while setting the pace in receiving yards and finishing second in targets. It was the second productive game in the last five days for the fifth-year receiver, who posted a 5-99-1 line on six targets versus the Falcons on Sunday. Waddle has exceeded 80 receiving yards in four of the last five games overall, and he should continue to fill a clear No. 1 role in a typically concentrated Dolphins air attack when the Bills come to town for a Week 10 matchup on Sunday, Nov. 9.

Dolphins' Jaylen Waddle: Stands out in upset victory
Waddle brought in five of six targets for 99 yards and a touchdown in the Dolphins' 34-10 win over the Falcons on Sunday.
Although he came up just short of the century mark, Waddle still paced the Dolphins in receptions and receiving yards while checking in second in targets. Nearly half of his yardage came on the highlight play of his afternoon, a 43-yard touchdown grab in the latter portion of the third quarter. Waddle's production has unsurprisingly picked up since Tyreek Hill's season-ending knee injury, as the talented fifth-year wideout has recorded at least 95 receiving yards in three of his last four games while logging at least six targets in each of those contests. Waddle next sets his sights on an inconsistent Ravens secondary, which he'll face off against in a Week 9 home matchup Thursday night.

Dolphins' Jaylen Waddle: Good to go against Falcons
Waddle (hamstring/rest) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Falcons, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Waddle was limited at practice Thursday, but that seemed to be maintenance-related given that he returned to full participation Friday. He'll continue to work as the top option in Miami's passing game Week 8 versus Atlanta, which should earn Waddle significant attention from top Falcons cornerback A.J. Terrell.

Dolphins' Jaylen Waddle: Limited in practice Thursday
Waddle (hamstring/rest) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Waddle is dealing with issues in both hamstrings and receiving some rest at practice as a result, per Furones, which lends optimism to the notion that No. 1 wideout will still manage to suit up on the road versus Atlanta on Sunday. Still, unless he's able to upgrade to full practice activity Friday, it seems like Waddle may be assigned an injury designation for Week 8. With Tyreek Hill (knee - ACL) already out for the season and Darren Waller (hamstring) to miss at least four games after having been placed on IR on Wednesday, Tua Tagovailoa and the Dolphins' passing game can scarcely afford for Waddle to miss any time.

Dolphins' Jaylen Waddle: One catch in lopsided loss
Waddle brought in one of four targets for 15 yards in the Dolphins' 31-6 loss to the Browns on Sunday.
Tua Tagovailoa threw for just 100 yards while barely completing more than 50.0 percent of his passes before giving way to Quinn Ewers in garbage time, so Waddle's line is slightly less alarming within that context. Nevertheless, the veteran receiver's numbers were season lows across the board, and his catch total was also a new career-worst mark. The Dolphins offense had its worst day of the season overall Sunday, and even though Waddle could bounce back to an extent in a Week 8 road matchup against the Falcons, meaningful production will remain hard to come by if Tagovailoa continues to struggle with ball security and efficiency.
