Jones and running back DeWayne McBride will cede their spots on the Vikings' practice squad to tackle Ricky Lee and running back Zavier Scott. Jones signed with Minnesota in April as an undrafted free agent, but he wasn't able to survive the training camp roster cuts after registering four catches (on eight targets) for 53 yards across three preseason games.
