Braylon Sanders: Let go by Washington
The Commanders waived Sanders on Monday.
Sanders joined the Commanders in early August, and he finished the preseason with two catches on as many targets for 19 yards. He won't be a part of the team's 53-man roster for the start of the regular season, but Sanders could remain in Washington as part of the practice squad.

Commanders' Braylon Sanders: Signs with Washington
The Commanders signed Sanders on Friday, Grant Paulsen of The Athletic reports.
Sanders hasn't appeared in a regular-season game since the 2022 season with the Dolphins, when he caught two passes for 17 yards on three targets across three contests. Now 26 years old, Sanders spent some time on the Patriots' practice squad in 2024.

Braylon Sanders: Headed to New England
The Patriots signed Sanders to the practice squad Tuesday.
Sanders was in Miami during training camp, but he was waived with an injury settlement Sept. 4 after being placed on injured reserve due to a lower body injury in late August. He appears to have fully recovered from the injury, and he'll provide the Patriots some depth in case any of the wide receivers on the active roster are unable to play. Sanders appeared in three regular-season games for the Dolphins in 2023 and finished with two catches (on three targets) for 17 yards.

Braylon Sanders: Let go with injury settlement
The Dolphins waived Sanders (lower body) from the reserve/injured list Wednesday with an injury settlement, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Sanders reverted to the Dolphins' IR on Aug. 29 after being waived with an injury designation two days earlier. He was set to miss the entire 2024 season as a result, but the injury settlement will allow him to sign with another team once he's healthy. Sanders appeared in three regular-season games for Miami in 2022, during which he posted two catches (on three targets) for 17 yards while playing 32 snaps on offense.

Dolphins' Braylon Sanders: Placed on IR
Sanders (lower body) reverted to injured reserve with the Dolphins on Wednesday, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Sanders reeled in two receptions for 17 yards during the preseason, picking up a lower-body injury along the way. The wide receiver will now be forced to miss the entirety of the 2024 campaign while on IR with Miami unless he and the team eventually come to an injury settlement.

Braylon Sanders: Waived/injured by Miami
The Dolphins waived Sanders (lower body) with an injury designation Tuesday.
Since signing with Miami as an undrafted free agent in May of 2022, Sanders has spent most of his time on the Dolphins' practice squad, though he did appear in three regular-season games in 2022. Sanders accumulated two catches on 10 targets for 17 yards across the Dolphins' first two preseason games, but a lower-body injury kept him out of the preseason finale against the Buccaneers on Friday. Assuming he clears waivers, Sanders would revert to Miami's injured reserve and be forced to sit for the entire 2024 season unless an injury settlement is reached.

Dolphins' Braylon Sanders: Dealing with injury
Sanders is considered week-to-week after sustaining a lower-body injury during Monday's practice session, Travis Wingfield of the Dolphins' official site reports.
Sanders was expected to have an outside chance at making the Dolphins' 53-man roster, and this injury likely decreases his odds even further. Once Sanders is fully past this lower-body issue, he's expected to compete for a spot on Miami's practice squad for the second year in a row.

Dolphins' Braylon Sanders: Gets reserve/future deal from Miami
The Dolphins signed Sanders to a reserve/future contract Monday.
Sanders was originally signed by Miami as an unrestricted free agent in 2022 and got into three contests that season, catching two of three targets for 17 yards over 32 offensive snaps. He remained with the Dolphins last year and spent the campaign on the organization's practice squad. Sanders will have another chance to work for a roster spot during training camp this summer.

The Dolphins signed Sanders to the practice squad Wednesday.
Sanders spent the 2022 season and all of training camp in Miami but was let go on cutdown day. He's back in a familiar spot and will very likely see most of his work on special teams if he's called up to the active roster.

Braylon Sanders: Let go on cutdown day
Sanders was waived by the Dolphins on Tuesday.
Sanders bounced back and forth between Miami's practice squad and active roster last season, and he caught two of three targets for 17 yards across three game-day elevations in 2022. Should he go unclaimed on waivers, the undrafted product out of Ole Miss will likely receive an offer to rejoin the Dolphins' taxi squad ahead of this regular season.

Dolphins' Braylon Sanders: Injury considered minor
Sanders suffered what head coach Mike McDaniel is calling a "lower-body" injury with no structural damage, Daniel Oyefusi of the Miami Herald reports.
Sanders' injury was reported to be knee-related Tuesday when he needed to be carted off the practice field during 11-on-11 drills. Ultimately, this is good news for Sanders, who McDaniels expects to be able to return to practice next week. The 24-year-old is likely on the outside looking in regarding the 53-man roster, although Oyefusi does believe the Ole Miss product is having a good camp.
