Spector (calf) and the Bills reached an injury settlement Sunday, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com reports.
Spector was placed on injured reserve by Buffalo on Thursday, but he will now be able to test the open market. The linebacker suffered a calf injury at practice Monday, and he'll have to pass a physical in order to sign elsewhere.

Spector (calf) reverted to Buffalo's injured-reserve list Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Spector wasn't claimed by another team after he was waived by the Bills on Wednesday with an injury designation. He'll go on the Bills' IR, which will force him to sit out for the entire 2025 season unless he can reach an injury settlement with the team. Spector appeared in 11 regular-season games (four starts) for the Bills in 2024 and posted 40 tackles (22 solo), including 1.5 sacks, and one fumble recovery.

Spector will revert to injured reserve if he clears waivers. While he's dealt with injuries ever since being drafted in 2022, the 26-year-old has made a decent impact when healthy, tallying 40 tackles over 11 regular-season games in 2024, but has never played more than 11 games in any of his three campaigns. His current calf injury goes all the way back to last season, which caused him to miss much of the remainder of the regular season and playoffs.
