Packers' Collin Oliver: Set to miss at least four games
Oliver (hamstring) was placed on the reserve/PUP list by the Packers on Tuesday, Wes Hodkiewicz of the team's official website reports.
Oliver will be forced to miss at least four games to open the 2025 season as he continues to nurse a hamstring injury. The 22-year-old was expected to operate as a depth option on defense in his rookie campaign, so his early absence doesn't carry a significant impact.

Packers' Collin Oliver: Working through a hamstring injury
Oliver did not participate in Thursday's training camp practice due to a hamstring injury, Bill Huber of SI.com reports.
Oliver is competing for a depth defensive-end spot on the Packers' 53-man roster, and he's missing out on valuable practice reps while working through his hamstring injury. The rookie fifth-rounder is unlikely to be available for Saturday's preseason opener against the Jets, but he could aim to suit up for the Packers' second exhibition game against the Colts on Aug. 16.

Packers' Collin Oliver: Placed on PUP list
Oliver (undisclosed) was placed on the active/PUP list Friday, Zach Jacobson of 247Sports.com reports.
Oliver was selected in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft despite suffering a foot injury during his final collegiate season. He participated in the combine, so this issue presumably isn't related, though that is still unclear at this point.

Packers' Collin Oliver: Nabbed by Packers in Round 5
The Packers selected Oliver in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, 159th overall.
Oliver's 2024 season ended after just two games due to a foot injury, but he impressed at the combine, showcasing his athleticism and alleviating some concerns surrounding the foot. Oliver produced 73 tackles, 15.5 tackles for loss and 6.0 sacks in his lone full season as a starter with Oklahoma State in 2023. He doesn't have a ton of experience dropping into coverage and may serve as a rotational rusher early in his career, though a future as an off-ball linebacker may not be off the table either, depending on how defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley views him. He'll likely slot into a depth role and be a possible special teams contributor as a rookie.
