Texans' Myles Bryant: Paces Texans in tackles Sunday
Bryant logged eight tackles (four solo) in Sunday's 16-13 win against Tennessee.
Bryant got a chance to start for the second straight week with Jalen Pitre (concussion) unable to suit up. Bryant ended up playing all 59 of Houston's defensive snaps and leading the team in tackles. The Texans play on Thursday night this week, and if Pitre isn't able to return (he was estimated as limited in Monday's walkthrough), Bryant would be in line for another start.

Texans' Myles Bryant: Signed to active roster
The Texans signed Bryant to the active roster from their practice squad Wednesday.
Bryant had already been elevated for the maximum three games this season, meaning he would've been unable to play in another matchup without joining the active roster. If Jalen Pitre is unable to clear the league's concussion protocol in time for Sunday's matchup versus the Titans, Bryant would likely step in as the team's starting slot cornerback.

Texans' Myles Bryant: Back with Houston
Bryant re-signed with the Texans on Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
The five-year NFL veteran has inked a deal to return to Houston after spending part of the 2024 campaign with the team. Bryant appeared in 11 regular-season games last season, recording 14 total tackles while playing 188 total snaps (67 defensive and 121 on special teams). With Bryant returning to the Texans, he's expected to compete for a depth spot in the team's secondary.

Texans' Myles Bryant: Promoted to roster
Bryant was signed to Houston's 53-man roster from the practice squad Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Adding Bryant to the 53-man is a reaction to Jalen Pitre's torn pectoral injury, which will sideline him indefinitely. Jimmie Ward will slot in a nickel cornerback for Pitre, while the versatile Bryant offers depth and nickel, outside corner and safety. Bryant can also return punts if needed.

Texans' Myles Bryant: Finds new opportunity
Bryant signed a contract with the Texans on Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Bryant will suit up for a new franchise in 2024 after spending the first four years of his career in New England. The Washington product appeared in all 17 games last season, recording 77 tackles (65 solo), including 1.0 sacks, while also forcing two fumbles and grabbing an interception. The 26-year-old should have the opportunity to bolster the depth in Houston's secondary in the upcoming campaign.

Patriots' Myles Bryant: Career-high numbers in 2023
Bryant racked up 77 tackles (65 solo), including 1.0 sack, seven pass breakups (one interception) and two forced fumbles across 17 regular-season appearances in 2023.
Bryant also accrued 11 yards on kick returns and 105 yards as a punt returner. The versatile contributor mostly handled slot snaps at cornerback for New England, but his dual-threat ability to handle punt return duties as well inarguably increased his value for the Patriots. Bryant is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

Patriots' Myles Bryant: Over illness
Bryant (illness) is active Sunday against the Jets.
Bryant was able to log limited practices Thursday and Friday despite dealing with an illness, so it's probably no surprise the Washington product will be on the field Sunday. He should get the start at corner, opposite Shaun Wade.

Patriots' Myles Bryant: Questionable for Sunday
Bryant (illness) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's game against the Jets.
Bryant could be trending in the right direction to play Sunday, as he began the Patriots' week of practice with a DNP but followed that up with limited work both Thursday and Friday. If the Washington product is unable to suit up in Week 18, Alex Austin could shoulder an increased workload in New England's secondary, and Demario Douglas would likely assume the team's top punt-returner duties.

Patriots' Myles Bryant: Back at practice
Bryant (illness) was a limited participant at the Patriots' practice Thursday.
Bryant missed the team's first practice of the week Wednesday with an illness, but his return Thursday seems to suggest that he'll be ready to go for Sunday's regular-season finale with the Jets. The dual-threat cornerback has recorded 15 tackles and a pass deflection while compiling 49 punt-return yards over the last three contests.

Patriots' Myles Bryant: Gets first interception of season
Bryant recorded two tackles (two solo) and an interception in Sunday's 10-6 loss against the Colts.
Bryant failed to tally five total tackles for the fourth time in 10 games this season, but he salvaged his day by running under a tipped Gardner Minshew pass early in the third quarter to secure his first pick of the campaign. Opposing quarterbacks have mostly had their way with Bryant in 2023 though, and his tackle production isn't consistent enough to warrant IDP consideration in all but the deepest of formats.
