Giants' Lil'Jordan Humphrey: Busy after promotion Thursday
Humphrey brought in four of eight targets for 55 yards in the Giants' 34-17 win over the Eagles on Thursday night.
Elevated from the practice squad earlier in the day, Humphrey made very good use of his first taste of regular-season action in 2025. The veteran wideout finished second to Wan'Dale Robinson in receptions and receiving yards on the night for the Giants while surprisingly pacing the team in targets. Humphrey posted a solid 31-293-1 line on 45 targets in a part-time role for the Broncos a year ago, and while Darius Slayton's absence due to a hamstring issue was the biggest factor in Humphrey's elevation against the Eagles, he could be on the active roster for a Week 7 road matchup against his former Denver teammates on Sunday, Oct. 19.

Giants' Lil'Jordan Humphrey: Elevated to active roster
Humphrey was elevated to the Giants' active roster ahead of Thursday night's contest against the Eagles, Dan Salomone of the team's official site reports.
Humphrey will join the active roster for the first time this season after joining New York's practice squad in the offseason. The 27-year-old will provide the team with an additional depth option at wide receiver with Darius Slayton (hamstring) unavailable for Thursday Night Football.

Lil'Jordan Humphrey: Staying with Big Blue
The Giants signed Humphrey to the practice squad Wednesday, Dan Salomone of the team's official site reports.
Humphrey wasn't able to beat out Gunner Olszewski or undrafted rookie Beaux Collins for a depth wideout spot on the Giants' 53-man roster. Humphrey has elected to stay with the team on the practice squad and is a candidate to be elevated to the active roster should the Giants need extra depth at wide receiver. The seventh-year wideout logged six catches (on nine targets) for 94 yards and a touchdown across the Giants' three preseason games.

Lil'Jordan Humphrey: Dumped by G-Men
The Giants released Humphrey on Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Humphrey had a productive preseason, catching six passes for 94 yards and one touchdown on eight targets across 96 offensive snaps. The 27-year-old veteran wideout appeared in all 17 regular-season games for the Broncos last season, making seven starts, and finished with a 31-293-1 receiving line on 45 targets.

Giants' Lil'Jordan Humphrey: Back with Big Blue
The Giants re-signed Humphrey on Monday, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports.
The Texas product was dropped by the Giants just three days ago, but it now appears the team has decided to bring him back to New York. Humphrey appeared in all 17 of the Broncos' regular-season contests in 2024, catching 31 of his 45 targets for 293 yards and one touchdown. With the Giants' limited depth at wide receiver, Humphrey likely will have the opportunity to compete for a reserve role on offense this summer.

Lil'Jordan Humphrey: Let go by G-Men
The Giants released Humphrey on Friday, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.
This move comes as a bit of a surprise, as Humphrey looked to have a legitimate chance of serving as wideout depth for New York after signing with the organization March 21. The veteran wideout tallied a career-high 31 catches and 293 receiving yards over 17 regular-season games with Denver last year, adding one receiving touchdown. The Giants recently signed five receivers as undrafted free agents and needed to clear roster space, precipitating Humphrey's release.

Giants' Lil'Jordan Humphrey: Finds new team
The Giants signed Humphrey on Friday.
Humphrey is coming off a 2024 regular season in which he recorded a career-high 31 receptions on 45 targets for 293 yards and a touchdown in 17 games with the Broncos. At 6-foot-4, 225 pounds, the 26-year-old will add size and experience to a Giants wideout corps that also includes Malik Nabers, Wan'Dale Robinson, Darius Slayton and Jalin Hyatt. However, in his new locale, Humphrey could see a dip in volume in 2025.

Broncos' Lil'Jordan Humphrey: Finishes second season in Denver
Humphrey ended the 2024 regular season with 31 receptions on 45 targets for 293 yards and a touchdown across 17 games.
Humphrey recorded career highs in catches, targets and yards during the 2024 campaign while appearing in all 17 games for the second straight season. With that said, the veteran wideout was not a major part of the Broncos' offensive plans this season, operating in a depth role behind Courtland Sutton, Devaughn Vele, Marvin Mims and Troy Franklin. Humphrey will head into the offseason as an unrestricted free agent, but its possible his long-standing connection with head coach Sean Payton could help him to get another contract offer from the Broncos if he doesn't land with a new team in 2025.

Broncos' Lil'Jordan Humphrey: Modest production in win
Humphrey caught two of three targets for four yards in Sunday's 29-19 win over the Raiders.
After scoring his first touchdown and recording a season-high 52 yards in Week 11, Humphrey came crashing back down to Earth against the Raiders in Week 12. The veteran played 38 of the Broncos' 68 offensive snaps Sunday, behind fellow wide receivers Courtland Sutton (58) and Devaughn Vele (44). Humphrey's inconsistent nature make him an unreliable option for fantasy purposes. The 26-year-old will look to bounce back in a Week 13 matchup against the Browns on Monday Night Football.
