Lil'Jordan Humphrey: Re-joining Payton in Denver
Humphrey is signing with the Broncos and may play in Sunday's game against the Chiefs, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
The Broncos are signing Humphrey away from the Giants' practice squad, figuring he can acclimate quickly after previously playing for Sean Payton in both New Orleans and Denver. Humphrey isn't likely to have much fantasy value, but his presence in a depth role could take a bit of playing time away from the Broncos' other wide receivers.

Giants' Lil'Jordan Humphrey: Placed back on practice squad
Humphrey reverted to the Giants' practice squad Monday.
Humphrey was elevated each of the past three weeks and played a major role in New York's offense, logging at least 64 percent of the team's offensive snaps each week. However, after producing four catches on eight targets for 55 yards in Week 6, Humphrey didn't make any catches on two targets over his subsequent two games. Still, with Malik Nabers (knee) on injured reserve and the Giants getting very little production from their wideouts outside of Wan'Dale Robinson, there's certainly a chance Humphrey could continue to be called upon on game days. However, he would need to be signed to the active roster for that to happen, since he's already been elevated the maximum three times.

Giants' Lil'Jordan Humphrey: Gets third practice-squad elevation
The Giants elevated Humphrey from their practice squad Saturday ahead of Sunday's matchup versus Philadelphia, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Humphrey was also elevated each of the past two weeks and played a major role in the Giants' offense, logging 77 percent of the team's offensive snaps in Week 6 and 95 percent in Week 7. Darius Slayton (hamstring) is returning for Sunday's game after sitting out each of the past two weeks, so Humphrey will likely take on a lesser role, though he could still be the team's No. 3 WR option behind Slayton and Wan'Dale Robinson. Since Humphrey has now been elevated three times, he'd need to be signed to the active roster in order to be active for New York on gameday again beyond this weekend.

Giants' Lil'Jordan Humphrey: Heads back to practice squad
Humphrey reverted to the Giants' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.
In this past Sunday's loss to Denver, Humphrey led New York's wideouts with 74 offensive snaps (out of a possible 77), though he got only two targets and didn't catch either of him. Malik Nabers (knee) is out for the season, so Humphrey could eventually be signed to the active roster to provide every-week receiver depth. His role could be reduced, however, when Darius Slayton (hamstring) is ready to return to action.

Giants' Lil'Jordan Humphrey: Elevated from practice squad again
The Giants have elevated Humphrey from the practice squad to the active roster ahead of Sunday's road matchup against the Broncos, Dan Salomone of the team's official site reports.
New York will be without Darius Slayton (hamstring) for a second consecutive game, while Malik Nabers (knee) is already done for the year, which positions Humphrey to again join Wan'Dale Robinson, Jalin Hyatt, Beaux Collins and Gunner Olszewski in the wide receiver corps. Humphrey was elevated Week 6 against the Eagles due to the same circumstance, a game in which he played 77 percent of offensive snaps and secured four of eight targets for 55 yards.

Giants' Lil'Jordan Humphrey: Reverts to practice squad
Humphrey reverted to the Giants' practice squad Friday, per the NFL's transaction log.
With Malik Nabers (knee) and Darius Slayton (hamstring) injured, Humphrey started Thursday night against the Eagles and played 77 percent of the offensive snaps, finishing with four catches for 55 yards on eight targets in his first regular-season action of 2025. Humphrey figures to be a regular elevation candidate over the next few weeks after his strong Week 6 performance.

Giants' Lil'Jordan Humphrey: Busy after promotion Thursday
Humphrey brought in four of eight targets for 55 yards in the Giants' 34-17 win over the Eagles on Thursday night.
Elevated from the practice squad earlier in the day, Humphrey made very good use of his first taste of regular-season action in 2025. The veteran wideout finished second to Wan'Dale Robinson in receptions and receiving yards on the night for the Giants while surprisingly pacing the team in targets. Humphrey posted a solid 31-293-1 line on 45 targets in a part-time role for the Broncos a year ago, and while Darius Slayton's absence due to a hamstring issue was the biggest factor in Humphrey's elevation against the Eagles, he could be on the active roster for a Week 7 road matchup against his former Denver teammates on Sunday, Oct. 19.

Giants' Lil'Jordan Humphrey: Elevated to active roster
Humphrey was elevated to the Giants' active roster ahead of Thursday night's contest against the Eagles, Dan Salomone of the team's official site reports.
Humphrey will join the active roster for the first time this season after joining New York's practice squad in the offseason. The 27-year-old will provide the team with an additional depth option at wide receiver with Darius Slayton (hamstring) unavailable for Thursday Night Football.

Lil'Jordan Humphrey: Staying with Big Blue
The Giants signed Humphrey to the practice squad Wednesday, Dan Salomone of the team's official site reports.
Humphrey wasn't able to beat out Gunner Olszewski or undrafted rookie Beaux Collins for a depth wideout spot on the Giants' 53-man roster. Humphrey has elected to stay with the team on the practice squad and is a candidate to be elevated to the active roster should the Giants need extra depth at wide receiver. The seventh-year wideout logged six catches (on nine targets) for 94 yards and a touchdown across the Giants' three preseason games.

Lil'Jordan Humphrey: Dumped by G-Men
The Giants released Humphrey on Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Humphrey had a productive preseason, catching six passes for 94 yards and one touchdown on eight targets across 96 offensive snaps. The 27-year-old veteran wideout appeared in all 17 regular-season games for the Broncos last season, making seven starts, and finished with a 31-293-1 receiving line on 45 targets.
