Brandon Peters: Waived by Bolts
Peters was waived by the Chargers on Monday, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.
Peters signed with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of Illinois, where he threw for 1,170 yards and seven touchdowns during his final collegiate campaign. However, the 24-year-old quarterback finds himself in the first wave of cuts ahead of Tuesday's 85-man roster deadline.
