Shaquille Quarterman: Let go by Eagles
Philadelphia released Quarterman on Sunday.
Quarterman had been competing for a depth linebacker role with the Eagles, but he'll now need to look for an opportunity elsewhere. The 26-year-old spent his first four seasons with the Jaguars, and he suited up in all 17 regular-season games each year from 2021 to 2023. However, Quarterman played almost exclusively on special teams last season, logging only eight defensive snaps.

Jaguars' Shaquille Quarterman: Starting in London
Quarterman will draw the start in place of Myles Jack (oblique) Sunday in London versus the Dolphins, John Reid of The Florida Times-Union reports.
The 23-year-old has operated as a depth piece for the Jaguars defense this season, making nine tackles through five games. He'll make his first start of the season and could end up filling in for a couple weeks since Myles Jack wasn't able to practice this week.

Jaguars' Shaquille Quarterman: Back from injured reserve
Quarterman (knee) was activated off injured reserve Saturday.
The 23-year-old landed on injured reserve in early November with the knee injury, and he's back after spending a month on the shelf. Quarterman should fill a reserve role in Jacksonville's linebacking corps, though he exclusively played special teams prior to the injury.

Jaguars' Shaquille Quarterman: Practicing without limitations
Quarterman (knee) is set to practice in full Wednesday, John Shipley of SI.com reports.
Quarterman having progressed to practicing without limitations seems like a sure indication that he'll come off IR in the near future. The rookie fourth-round pick's role has been completely limited to special teams this season.

Jaguars' Shaquille Quarterman: Nearing return from IR
Quarterman (knee) was designated to return from injured reserve Wednesday.
The 23-year-old was placed on injured reserve in early November and may be able to return after missing the three-game minimum. Quarterman has exclusively played special teams in seven games this season.

Jaguars' Shaquille Quarterman: Moves to injured reserve
Quarterman (knee) was placed on injured reserve Saturday.
The 23-year-old was considered questionable for Sunday's game against the Texans, but he'll now be sidelined for at least the next three contests. The specifics of the issue remain unclear, as Quarterman appeared to suffer the injury late in the week at practice.

Jaguars' Shaquille Quarterman: Questionable for Sunday
Quarterman is questionable for Sunday's game against the Texans with a knee injury, John Oehser of the Jaguars' official site reports.
The rookie fourth-round pick wasn't listed on the injury report Wednesday or Thursday, so it appears to be a fresh injury. Quarterman has yet to play a defensive snap this season, so his availability shouldn't impact Jacksonville's gameplan.
