Washington was cut by the Cardinals on Monday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.
Washington signed with the Cardinals in April after going undrafted out of Rutgers, and now parts ways with the team to make room for a new set of rookies. In 2018, Washington caught 11 passes for 202 yards across five games for Rutgers.

Washington appeared in five games for Rutgers last season, catching 11 passes for 202 yards. The 6-foot-4, 253-pound tight end likely will be fighting for a roster spot in a special teams role.
