  • Dimitri Flowers: Jags move on

Flowers was cut by the Jaguars on Thursday, Phillip Heilman of The Florida Times-Union reports.

Flowers didn't see any action during the regular season for Jacksonville after being signed Dec. 18 -- although he was promoted from the practice squad occasionally for depth. The Oklahoma product will now have to look for his NFL debut with another team this offseason.

  • Jaguars' Dimitri Flowers: Promoted from practice squad

The Jaguars signed Flowers from their practice squad on Friday, Phillip Heilman of The Florida Times-Union reports.

Flowers signed with Jacksonville's practice squad in mid December, and now finds his spot on the 53-man roster. The undrafted rookie has an outside shot to make his NFL debut versus the Texans on Sunday.

  • Dimitri Flowers: Joins Jaguars' practice squad

Flowers was signed to the Jaguars' practice squad Tuesday, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.

Flowers was unable to make the Jets' active roster as an undrafted rookie earlier this year, but he'll have a chance to prove himself as a versatile fullback on the practice squad in Jacksonville.

  • Dimitri Flowers: Released by Jets

Flowers was waived by the Jets on Friday, Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reports.

The undrafted free agent evidently did not show well enough to make the Jets' final 53-man roster. Flowers, who caught 54 passes for 886 yards and 13 touchdowns in college, may draw interest elsewhere in the league due to his versatility and 6-foot-2, 248-pound frame.

  • Jets' Dimitri Flowers: Makes three-yard catch Friday

Flowers caught his lone target for three yards in Friday's 17-0 win over the Falcons to open the preseason.

The undrafted free agent has excellent hands for a fullback. Look for New York to keep him involved in the passing game throughout the preseason.
