Scott Orndoff: Cut from practice squad
Orndoff was released from the Eagles' practice squad Monday, Tim McManus of ESPN.com reports.
Ordoff had been on Philadelphia's practice squad since Oct. 18, but he's now been let go in favor of Alex Ellis, a former tight end on the team. The 26-year-old will now have to look for a new opportunity.

Orndoff has agreed to join the Eagles' practice squad, Greg Auman of The Athletic reports.
Orndoff spent training camp with the Buccaneers but was unable to make it through final cuts. He will now look to make an impression with the Eagles. The jouneyman has yet to suit up for an NFL game in his career.

Buccaneers' Scott Orndoff: Signs on with Tampa Bay
Orndoff inked an undisclosed contract with the Buccaneers on Wednesday, Scott Smith of the team's official site reports.
Orndoff has spent time with Pittsburgh, Detroit, Cincinnati and Jacksonville before latching on with the Buccaneers. He has never suited up in NFL action in his career, and the team released Donnie Ernsberger to make room for him on the roster.

Jaguars' Scott Orndoff: Signs with Jaguars
Orndoff signed a contract with the Jaguars on Wednesday.
An undrafted free agent out of Pittsburgh in 2017, Orndoff spent the bulk of last season on Cincinnati's practice squad. He was cut loose by the Bengals earlier this month, but didn't have to wait long to find a new home. The 6-foot-4, 253-pound tight end will take the roster spot of the injured Zach Conque (undisclosed), who was waived in a corresponding move.

Orndoff was waived by Cincinnati on Monday, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Orndoff ended 2017 on the Bengals' practice squad and was looking to make the active roster for the team in 2018. If he goes unclaimed, he'll be a free agent able to sign with any team, where he'll look to secure a depth role.

The Bengals signed Orndoff to a reserve/future contract Monday, Laurel Pfahler of the Dayton Daily News reports.
Orndoff finished the 2017 campaign as a member of the Cincinnati practice squad and will likely get a shot to compete for a roster spot in training camp this summer. The Pittsburgh product is still awaiting his NFL debut after going undrafted last April.

Orndoff signed a contract Monday with the Lions, Michael Rothstein of ESPN.com reports.
Orndoff, an undrafted rookie, caught 35 passes for 579 yards and five touchdowns as a senior at Pittsburgh last season. He'll need to impress on special teams in order to make the team, as the Lions already have plenty of capable options on hand at tight end.

Head coach Mike Tomlin described Orndoff's injury as a "soft-tissue" injury, according to Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, so he shouldn't be out long. However, if Orndoff clears waivers, he'll revert to the Steelers' IR list.
