Draft Scouting Report
Pro Comparison: Duncan Robinson
Summary
He was a two-year starter at Belmont before becoming one of the most sought after players in the 2024 transfer portal. He committed to North Carolina but failed to make the impact expected, averaging just 2.6 points in 7.9 minutes. He returned to the portal last spring and found a better fit in Minnesota, where he averaged nearly 20 points per game.
About
- 2026 Big Ten All-Conference Honorable Mention
- 2024 Missouri Valley All-Conference Second Team
- 2023 Missouri Valley Rookie of the Year
Strengths
- Shooting is his niche. He ranked in the 97th percentile as a spot-up threat, made nearly 45 of his unguarded catch-and-shoot 3-pointers, and 41% of his 3-pointers off the dribble.
- Smart player in offensive structure who is a good cutter and solid passer.
- Has NBA caliber size on the wing at 6-6-plus without shoes on.
Weaknesses
- Limited athlete with shorter arms.
- Defensive footspeed is a real question mark. Has to prove he can guard his position at the NBA level.
- Wasn’t as accurate shooting on the move this year, making just 23% of his 3-pointers off cuts.
