The semifinal series between the top-seeded Minnesota Lynx and Phoenix Mercury will continue Sunday with Game 4 from the PHX Arena. After a stunning turn of events, the Mercury are one win away from their first trip to the Finals since 2021, and the Lynx will be without both star forward Napheesa Collier and coach Cheryl Reeve for this must-win game.

Collier suffered an ankle injury late in Game 3 on a controversial play in which Alyssa Thomas stole the ball from her and the contact afterward was deemed incidental. Reeve lost her cool in the moment and was ejected, then went on an major rant about officiating during her postgame press conference.

Game 4 prediction

It's a bit surprising that the Mercury are only 4.5-point favorites in this one considering they've covered that in each of the last two games and the Lynx are now without their best player and coach. Could this be a trap game? Sure, but the Mercury aren't the type of team that's going to let its foot off the gas. Pick: Mercury -4.5
