Max Holloway only sees empty threats from Conor McGregor. In the aftermath of a disappointing conclusion to their fight at UFC 329, Holloway sees just a loudmouth where a brash, talented young fighter once stood.

Holloway and McGregor headlined International Fight Week this year. Nearly 16 million people across the U.S. and Latin America tuned in for the monumental card. Unfortunately, the fight fizzled immediately once the spectacular entrances concluded. McGregor injured himself with the first kick he threw, and the fight was waved off a little more than a minute later.

McGregor went on a crisis management tour in the weeks after. He advocated for a no-contest ruling, and claimed his "generational beating" of Holloway was only postponed to next year. Holloway can't help but laugh at McGregor.

"It's just crazy for the dude to be talking about how it was slippery because of the dry ice," Holloway said on his YouTube channel, referencing the substance for their elaborate entrances. "I don't know what he's talking about because I didn't fall.

"Him talking about this 'generational beating.' Dude is delusional because, to me, he felt slow in there. He looked old. If there was gonna be a generational beating, it wasn't gonna be on his end."

Holloway has three directions in mind for his next fight. "Blessed" would like a welterweight or lightweight title shot. He's also open to completing the McGregor trilogy, something he also advocated during his post-fight interview.

"If it's a title shot, in either weight class, sign ya boy up," he said. "If it's a Conor McGregor fight again, I'll sign the dotted line. UFC, I'm owed the Conor McGregor belt, the money belt, so you guys gotta send me that."
