2026 Wimbledon prize money: Payouts for men's, women's singles and doubles from record-setting purse

The 2026 Wimbledon Championships feature a record purse with a 20% prize money increase to 64.2 million British pounds ($86.1 million). That means huge paydays for those who push into the second week, as reaching the semifinals as a singles competitor guarantees you over $1 million.

That meant a huge payday for some players who had a disappointing ending to their run this week of getting so close to the title. Karolina Muchova sent American Coco Gauff home early in a thrilling three-set match in the semifinals where Gauff served for the match in the 10-point tiebreaker. Linda Noskova also sent Marta Kostyuk home early in a straight-set to set up an All-Czech final on Saturday.

On the men's side, the top two seeds are set to battle it out in the final when Jannik Sinner takes on Alexander Zverev on Sunday. Sinner took down Novak Djokovic in the semifinals while Zverev ended the Cinderella run of local qualifier Arthur Fery. Sinner is the reigning Wimbledon champion from last year while Zverev earned his first grand slam title last month at the French Open.

In case there wasn't enough pressure on players this week in London, the massive payouts on the line will only add to the stress of competing for one of tennis' most prestigious titles. The winners on Saturday and Sunday will take home more than $4.8 million, over $1.5 million more than Zverev and Mirra Andreeva won in Paris last month for their victories at the French Open.
