Champions League scores: Real Madrid down Juventus 1-0; Liverpool, Chelsea, Bayern Munich dominate

It was another eventful day of Champions League action, bringing the third matchday of the league phase to an exciting end. After a disappointing start, Liverpool triumphed 5–1 over Eintracht Frankfurt, with Arne Slot's team avoiding a fifth consecutive defeat in all competitions. Bayern Munich delivered a 4–0 victory against Club Brugge in Germany, reaffirming their status as one of Europe's top sides this season. Real Madrid edged past Juventus 1–0, thanks to a second-half goal from Jude Bellingham, and Chelsea won 5–0 against Ajax at Stamford Bridge.

Another one for Sporting

Bayern makes four

79' Nicolas Jackson scored the fourth goal of the match against Club Brugge and make it 4-0 for the German giants at the Allianz Arena today.

Sporting draws

69' After a VAR review, the referee awarded the goal to Geny Catamo, leveling the score at 1–1 against OM. Sporting now have more than 20 minutes to try and find a winner.

Two more goals for Liverpool

65' The English team scored the fourth goal of the match against Eintracht Frankfurt with Cody Gakpo, who makes it now quiet easy for Slot's team to bring the three points back to Liverpool. Few moments later, Dominik Szoboszlai netted the fifth one for Liverpool.

Real Madrid scores

57' Despite Juventus had a good moment in the opening minutes of the second half with at least two chances to score the first goal of the night in Madrid, Jude Bellingham scored the opening goal against the Bianconeri. Vinicius tries his luck with an impressive solo run and, in a one-on-one with the goalkeeper, rattles the right post. On the rebound, Bellingham doesn't miss it.

Big chance for Vlahovic and Chelsea score again

51' Great chance for Dusan Vlahovic! He gets in front of the goalkeeper and fires a low shot to the bottom-right corner, but Thibaut Courtois reacts quickly and saved it. Meanwhile, Chelsea have already scored the fifth goal of the match with Tyrique George.

45' Before halftime, both Liverpool and Chelsea found the net again. The Reds doubled their lead from a corner, with Ibrahima Konate, while Chelsea extended their advantage through an Enzo Feraández penalty. A strong end to the first half for both English sides.

Liverpool makes it two!

39' That was quick. Liverpool completed the comeback after Ekitike's opener, as Virgil van Dijk scored the visitors' second goal in the first half. The score is now 2–1 in favor of Arne Slot's side.

Three goals in one minute! Liverpool, Bayern and Ajax

31' Ok this is also getting busy! While Ajax scored a penalty against Chelsea with Wout Weghorst, Liverpool scored the 1-1 with former Eintracht striker Hugo Ekitike after a disappointing start of the match. Meanwhile, Bayern Munich are just incredible this season and scored another one with Luis Diaz.

Chelsea scores

18' Few moments after Ajax midfielder Kenneth Taylor received a red card, Chelsea scored the opening goal at Stamford Bridge with Marc Guiu. Fofana challenges for the ball on a cross into the box and heads it across the face of goal, where Guiu makes it past the goalkeeper.
