The Guardinas have really struggled of late, losing seven of their last 10, but they remain tied atop the AL Central with the White Sox, even after losing 9-3 Friday night to Houston, which finds itself just three games back of Seattle in the AL West. Lefty Joey Cantillo (5-3, 4.38 ERA) starts for the Guardians while the Astros hand the ball to breakout right-hander Spencer Arrighetti (7-2, 2.57 ERA). The model has these teams combining to score eight or fewer runs in roughly 65% of simulations, a result that's trading at 53 cents per share at Kalshi.
Mets-Phillies more than 7.5 runs
Both the Mets and Phillies send their best starters to the hill on Saturday with New York's Freddy Peralta (5-5, 3.90 ERA) facing Philly ace Cristopher Sanchez (8-3, 1.82 ERA). The Mets have won each of the first two games of this four-game series entering Saturday. Orioles to win vs. Dodgers
The Dodgers are hot as the reigning champs have won seven of 10 and four in a row. With a win Saturday over the Orioles, L.A. would be MLB's first 50-game winner of the season. Baltimore has dropped six of 10 and is coming off a series loss in Seattle. Lefty Trevor Rogers (3-7, 5.86 ERA) will hope to turn his season around starting Saturday for the O's while the Dodgers are set to start ace Yoshinobu Yamamoto (7-4, 2.52 ERA), who has pitched at least eight innings in each of his last two starts and carried a no-hitter into the ninth in his last outing. The model has Baltimore winning in 35% of simulations, and an O's win is 32 cents per share at Kalshi.
Diamondbacks to win vs. Twins
Two talented right-handers will answer the call on Saturday with Minnesota's Taj Bradley (5-3, 4.14 ERA) facing the veteran Zac Gallen (3-5, 5.35 ERA). Arizona has won four of its last five games and now sits above San Diego for second in the NL West. The Twins are winners of six of their 10, though they dropped Friday's opener to Arizona 9-5.
