  • Predators' Fedor Svechkov: Sent to AHL

Svechkov was assigned to AHL Milwaukee on Monday. Svechkov produced eight goals, 17 points, 64 shots on net, 24 blocked shots and 32 hits across 52 NHL regular-season outings in 2024-25. He should be back with the Predators next year after competing in the 2025 Calder Cup Playoffs.

  • Predators' Fedor Svechkov: Slides helper in win

Svechkov notched an assist in Wednesday's 5-1 win over the Stars. Svechkov was a regular in the Predators' lineup from January onward. The 22-year-old finished the campaign with eight goals, nine assists, 64 shots on net, 32 hits, 24 blocked shots and a minus-17 rating across 52 appearances as a rookie this season. It's solid production, but as a first-round pick (2021), the scoring expectations will be elevated heading into 2025-26. In the long run, he projects to be a reliable middle-six center, so that will probably put him on the fringe in fantasy once he reaches his peak.

  • Predators' Fedor Svechkov: Plays hero in overtime Tuesday

Svechkov potted the game-winning goal and went plus-1 in Tuesday's 7-6 overtime win over the Islanders. Svechkov fired just one shot on goal Tuesday, but it came at the right time -- he walked down the slot and blew one past Marcus Hogberg's blocker to seal the comeback victory for Nashville. Svechkov's tally ended a five-game goal drought, though he's only found the back of the net twice since Jan. 23. The 22-year-old has recorded eight goals, 16 points, 62 shots on goal and a minus-15 rating over 48 appearances in his rookie campaign.

  • Predators' Fedor Svechkov: Just five assists in last 19 games

Svechkov had two assists in a 5-2 win over Toronto on Saturday. Svechkov has four assists and 19 shots in his last 18 games. The rookie has a reputation as a strong two-way player, but everything has been a struggle in Nashville this season, and he's sporting a minus-12 rating. Svechkov has just five assists in his last 21 games, averaging 12:24 of playing time. Any fantasy value he may have will likely come in future seasons.

  • Predators' Fedor Svechkov: Earns power-play assist in win

Svechkov notched a power-play assist and four shots on goal in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Sharks. Svechkov has a helper in each of the last two games, and this was his first power-play point since Jan. 23, which was also a game in San Jose. The 21-year-old center is filling a third-line role at even strength while also picking up time on the second power-play unit, which could boost his offense down the stretch. Svechkov is up to 11 points (four on the power play), 49 shots on net, 24 hits and a minus-11 rating over 34 appearances this season.

  • Predators' Fedor Svechkov: Grabs helper in overtime win

Svechkov notched an assist and three shots on goal in Saturday's 3-2 overtime win over the Blackhawks. Svechkov set up Steven Stamkos' game-winner in overtime. While he doesn't have the points to show for it lately -- the helper ended an 11-game point drought dating back to the start of February for Svechkov -- he's gained trust as a two-way forward lately. The 21-year-old is up to 10 points, 45 shots on net, 24 hits and a minus-11 rating over 33 appearances. After the Predators made numerous moves to reshape their forward group over the last week, Svechkov looks to be a lock to stay in the lineup down the stretch.

  • Predators' Fedor Svechkov: Seals chaotic win

Svechkov scored a power-play goal on three shots and added an assist in Thursday's 6-5 win over the Sharks. In Tuesday's similarly chaotic game back in Nashville, Svechkov's tally sparked the Predators' comeback from a four-goal deficit. Thursday saw the Sharks attempt to mimic their opponent, but Svechkov's third-period tally was enough for Nashville to get the win, giving the 21-year-old his first NHL game-winner. He's up to six goals, two assists, 28 shots on net, 14 hits and a minus-3 rating over 18 appearances. Three of his eight points have come on the power play, and he may have appeal in deeper fantasy formats as long as he continues to see time with the man advantage.

  • Predators' Fedor Svechkov: Finds twine Saturday

Svechkov scored a goal in Saturday's 6-2 win over the Wild. Svechkov snapped a four-game point drought when he scored at 2:07 of the second period. The 21-year-old forward is up to four goals, one assist, 21 shots on net, 13 hits and a minus-3 rating over 16 NHL appearances. He remains in the lineup as a bottom-six option as the Predators deal with injuries to multiple depth forwards.

  • Predators' Fedor Svechkov: Goal, assist in win

Svechkov scored a goal on two shots, dished a power-play assist and added two PIM in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Flames. Svechkov set up the first of Ryan O'Reilly's three goals in the game. In the third period, Svechkov got to a loose puck after a faceoff and swatted it past Dustin Wolf for the Predators' third goal. Svechkov earned his first multi-point effort at the NHL level. The 21-year-old forward has collected four points, 14 shots on net, 11 hits and an even plus-minus rating over 11 outings this season. If he continues to play well in the absences of Thomas Novak (upper body), Cole Smith (lower body) and Zachary L'Heureux (suspension), Svechkov could stick around with the big club for a while, though likely in a bottom-six role.

  • Predators' Fedor Svechkov: Sent to minors

Svechkov was assigned to AHL Milwaukee on Tuesday. Svechkov had played in nine consecutive contests before being a healthy scratch in each of the last two games. The left-shot center will link back up with the Admirals, where he's produced five goals and three assists across seven appearances in 2024-25.

  • Predators' Fedor Svechkov: Breaks up shutout bid

Svechkov scored a goal on two shots in Saturday's 3-1 loss to the Senators. Svechkov tallied with 1:57 left in the third period to break up Linus Ullmark's shutout bid. He has two goals over his last four games, accounting for all of his points at the NHL level. Through eight appearances, Svechkov has added nine shots on net, seven hits, four blocked shots and a plus-2 rating. The 21-year-old is getting a chance in a middle-six role at even strength and on the second power-play unit, but he still has a lot to prove before he'll be an option for fantasy managers.

Svechkov, selected by the Predators with the 19th overall pick in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft, was recalled after a big start at the AHL level, where he potted five goals and added three assists in seven games. He could make his NHL debut against the Jets on Saturday. The Predators sent Adam Wilsby down to Milwaukee in a corresponding move.
