Jaguars' Branson Combs: Elevated for Week 9
Combs was elevated from the Jaguars' practice squad to the active roster Saturday.
Combs, a rookie undrafted free agent out of Wake Forest, earned his first NFL opportunity in Week 7 against the Rams. He played 17 special teams snaps for the Jaguars and looks to have been elevated for similar usage in Sunday's game against the Raiders.

Jaguars' Eric Murray: Lands on IR
The Jaguars placed Murray (neck) on injured reserve Friday.
Murray, who has been bothered by a neck injury for a while, hurt his neck again versus the Rams in Week 7. He didn't practice at all this week and will now need to miss at least four games while on IR. Rookie Rayuan Lane could see more opportunities on defense while Murray is sidelined.

Jaguars' Austin Trammell: Signed to active roster
The Jaguars signed Trammell to the active roster from the practice squad Friday.
Trammell has spent all season with the Jacksonville practice squad and was elevated once, though he has yet to see game action. He'll likely serve primarily as a special-teamer while taking the roster spot of Travis Hunter (knee).

Jaguars' Devin Lloyd: Questionable to play Week 9
Lloyd (calf) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Raiders, Paul Gutierrez of Raiders.com reports.
Lloyd was unable to play against the Rams in Week 7 due to a calf injury, but he's had additional time to recover courtesy of the Week 8 bye. He was limited in practice all week to get the questionable tag, and his return would result in less defensive snaps available for Ventrell Miller. Lloyd's official status for Week 9 may not be known until the Jaguars announce their list of inactive players approximately 90 minutes before the 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff.

Jaguars' Quintin Morris: Set for another absence in Week 9
Morris (groin) has been ruled out for Sunday's tilt versus the Raiders.
This will be the second straight absence for Morris, with a Week 8 bye sandwiched in between. He did manage a trio of limited practices this week and will look to return to action next Sunday versus Houston. Morris has played almost exclusively on special teams this season, so his absence probably won't have a major impact on the Jaguars' offensive game plan.

Jaguars' Tim Patrick: Ruled out for Week 9
Patrick (groin) won't play Sunday against Las Vegas.
Patrick injured his groin against the Rams in Week 7. The Jaguars were on bye last week, but that didn't provide enough time for Patrick to fully recover, though he did manage to log a trio of limited practices this week. Austin Trammell was signed to the active roster off Jacksonville's practice squad Friday and could get some offensive snaps in Patrick's absence.

Jaguars' Travis Hunter: Officially placed on IR
The Jaguars placed Hunter (knee) on injured reserve Friday.
After Hunter was listed as a limited participant Thursday with a knee injury, coach Liam Coen told Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union on Friday morning that it was non-contact in nature and would result in an IR stint, per Harvey. Adam Schefter of ESPN then reported Friday afternoon that initial tests on Hunter's knee revealed that the ACL was intact, but he'll be evaluated further to determine the extent of the damage, which won't be known until next week. For the time being, Hunter will miss at least the next four games following this transaction, and the Jaguars will be rolling with Brian Thomas, Parker Washington, Dyami Brown and Tim Patrick (groin) at wide receiver moving forward.

Jaguars' Brian Thomas: Cleared to play Sunday
Thomas (shoulder) doesn't carry an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Raiders after being limited in practice this week.
With Travis Hunter (knee) on IR and slated to miss at least four games, the Jaguars will need all they can get from Thomas in the coming weeks, as he's slated to lead a WR corps that will also features Dyami Brown and Parker Washington. Through seven games, Thomas -- who caught 87 passes for 1,282 yards and 10 TDs as a rookie last season -- has logged a less impressive 27-365-1 line on 55 targets, but as long as he's not hampered too much by the shoulder issue he's currently managing, he should be busy this weekend and beyond.

Jaguars' Dyami Brown: Good to go in Week 9
Brown (shoulder) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game in Las Vegas.
Brown opened Week 9 prep as limited due to a shoulder issue Wednesday, but full practices Thursday and Friday have cleared him to suit up Sunday, when he'll be without Travis Hunter for the first of at least four contests after the rookie first-round pick was placed on injured reserve following Thursday's non-contact knee injury. Brown's snap share and target count figure to increase for as long as Hunter is sidelined, but he'll still need to contend with Brian Thomas (shoulder), Parker Washington and Tim Patrick (groin) for QB Trevor Lawrence's attention.

Jaguars' Travis Hunter: ACL reportedly intact
Initial testing on Hunter's knee revealed that the wideout's ACL is intact, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Per John Oehser of the Jaguars' official site, coach Liam Coen announced Friday that Hunter is slated to go on IR, which will cause him to miss at least four games. Beyond that, the rookie first-rounder will need to go through additional testing to determine both the extent of his non-contact knee injury, as well as how long he'll be sidelined, with no answers on that front expected before next week. In Hunter's looming absence, the Jaguars' top three wide receivers likely will be Brian Thomas (shoulder), Dyami Brown and Parker Washington.
