The Broncos DST checks all the boxes you look for in a steady Fantasy option. They have a very good pass rush, they're great against the run, they have a strong secondary and they have a track record you can buy into (they were the No. 1 DST in total points and points per game in 2024). You'll also love their early-season schedule against the Titans, Colts, and Chargers. It adds up to the Broncos DST being worthy of a third-to-last-round pick in drafts.

  • Broncos' Patrick Surtain: Plays 12 snaps with starters

Surtain played 12 snaps and did not record any counting stats in Saturday's 30-9 preseason win over the 49ers. Like most starters, Surtain did not play much in the preseason opener, as the 2024 Defensive Player of the Year is a key part of the success of Denver's formidable defense. The 25-year-old cornerback has cemented himself as on of the league's top defensive backs, recording a career-high four interceptions last season and consistently flashing elite coverage skills. Surtain will continue to be a centerpiece of what should be one of the top defensive units in the league once again. The Broncos will host the Cardinals in Week 2 of the preseason.

  • Broncos' Nik Bonitto: One sack in win

Bonitto recorded 1.0 sacks in Saturday's 30-9 preseason win over the 49ers. Bonitto looked impressive in Denver's preseason opener, picking up where he left off in a stellar 2024 regular season in which he notched a career high 13.5 sacks. The 25-year-old linebacker was a disruptive force in his limited playing time, recording a sack and three quarterback hits during Denver's second defensive drive of the contest. If Saturday's game is any indication, Bonitto should continue to be one of the Broncos' most impactful defensive players heading into the 2025 season. The veteran should continue to play limited snaps as one of Denver's star defensive players when the Broncos host the Cardinals in Week 2 of the preseason.
