  • Broncos' Justin Strnad: Doesn't practice Wednesday

Strnad (ankle) did not practice Wednesday, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports. Strnad was removed from the Broncos' Week 15 win over the Packers aftering injuring his right ankle and did not return. He's opened Week 16 prep with a DNP, and he'll have two more opportunities to practice and have a chance at playing Sunday against the Jaguars. Strnad has seen his playing time on defense decrease since mid-October after Dre Greenlaw was activated from injured reserve, so the former has worked mostly in a rotational role on defense and as a contributor on special teams.

  • Broncos' Talanoa Hufanga: Another quiet performance

Hufanga had three solo tackles during the Broncos' 34-26 win over the Packers on Sunday. Hufanga played every single defensive snap for the eighth time this season and fifth time over his last six games, but his three stops were his lowest since Week 4 against the Bengals (one). Hufanga is up to 97 combined tackles through 14 regular-season games, which matches his career high that he set in 2022 across 17 regular-season games as a member of the 49ers. The 2021 fifth-rounder should crack the tackling century mark during the Broncos' Week 16 tilt against the Jaguars this Sunday.

Jones suffered a pectoral injury in Sunday's 34-26 win over the Packers, and he will now be forced to miss the final three games of the regular season and the team's first postseason contest. • Broncos' Brandon Jones: Dealing with pec injury

Jones is set to undergo an MRI after sustaining a pec injury in Sunday's 34-26 win over the Packers, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
