    Acting coach Joe Vitt on his LB corps: "I’ll tell you, it’s probably the deepest group I’ve ever been around. I would say that linebackers 1-7 or 1-8 could start for a lot of teams in the National Football League, and that’s a compliment to the group." It's not clear which LBs he's discussing, but here's what the two-deep LB chart looks like so far during OTAs: first-team -- SLB Scott Shanle, MLB Curtis Lofton, WLB David Hawthorne; second-team -- SLB Will Herring, MLB Kadarron Anderson, WLB Chris Chamberlain. LBs Jonathan Vilma and Jonathan Casillas have missed OTAs with injuries.
