The Indianapolis Colts will head out on the road to face off against the Houston Texans at 1:00 p.m. ET on Sunday at NRG Stadium. The Colts have now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 13th.
Indianapolis couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a 31-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jaguars on Sunday.
The Colts' defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of QB Anthony Richardson, who threw for 223 yards and a touchdown, and WR Michael Pittman Jr. who scored a touchdown off of 97 receiving yards.
Houston kicked off their season on the road on Sunday and hit a couple of potholes. They received a tough blow as they fell 25-9 to the Ravens.
Looking ahead, the contest is expected to be close, with the Colts going off as just a 1 point favorite. They finished last season with a 6-11 record against the spread.
Indianapolis and Houston were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in January, but Indianapolis came up empty-handed after a 32-31 loss. Can the Colts avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
