On the first day of Seahawks' minicamp, second-year cornerback Eric Pinkins lined up at linebacker, even rushing the passer on occasion.
"Yeah, we are trying him at outside ‘backer to use his speed and see if he can’t be a really special addition to that spot," coach Pete Carroll said, per the Seattle Times. "You know, he’s real fast. He’s close to 230 pounds, almost 240 here a couple weeks back and as he trimmed up for camp, we just had the idea. We want to take a look and see what it looks like. So that’s what we’re going to … we’re going to throw him in here these first couple of weeks and into the OTAs season and see how far that goes."
