Coach Norv Turner appears to be using OTAs as an opportunity to evaluate his new talent and try them out in different roles. Free-agent acquisition WR Eddie Royal (Broncos), for example, was primarily used as an outside receiver last week and then worked mostly in the slot on Tuesday. “(Turner) is doing a good job of keeping us off balance,” Royal said. “For us new guys, you really have to be in your playbook every night or you will get exposed when you get out here.”
