Free agent addition WR Eddie Royal (Broncos) was a standout through OTAs and minicamp. QB Philip Rivers and Royal already appear to be in rhythm with each other. “He is real smooth in his rout running,” Rivers said of Royal. “A lot of guys with his size (5-10, 185) and quickness can be a little herky jerky with their movements. He is really smooth, so he is a really big target.”
