The Chargers have signed 16 veteran free agents this offseason. “What we have added is core guys who love to play and know how to win,” QB Philip Rivers said after the conclusion of minicamp on Tuesday. Rivers pointed to veterans RB Ronny Brown, WR Robert Meachem, LB Jarrett Johnson and S Atari Bigby as players he expects to make a difference. “All of the additions we have made fit in well with their ability and our personality," Rivers added. "They fit in with our scheme. It’s been real positive. It’s always fun this time of year to see what the makeup of your team is going to be.”
