The Raiders will be in front of their home fans on Sunday, but a look at the spread shows they might need that home-field advantage. After each having a week off, the Las Vegas Raiders and the Minnesota Vikings will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 4:05 p.m. ET on December 10th at Allegiant Stadium. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Las Vegas might've scored the first points last Sunday, but it was Kansas City who claimed the real prize. The match between the pair wasn't particularly close, with the Raiders falling 31-17. They were up 14-0 in the second but couldn't hold on to the lead.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Josh Jacobs, who rushed for 110 yards and a touchdown. Jacobs was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 63 yards. Another player making a difference was Aidan O'Connell, who threw for 248 yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, the point spread may have favored Minnesota last Monday, but the final result did not. They fell just short of the Bears by a score of 12-10. Minnesota has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Las Vegas' loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-7. As for Minnesota, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.
In addition to losing their last games, both teams failed to cover the spread. As for their next game, the Vikings are the favorite in this one, as the experts expect to see them win by three points.
