Game Recap
The Detroit Lions were the 20-19 winners over the Carolina Panthers when they previously met in November of 2018. Sunday? They had no such luck. The Lions lost to Carolina on the road by a decisive 20 to nothing margin. That's the first shutout Detroit has experienced all season.
The Panthers' WR D.J. Moore filled up the stat sheet, catching seven passes for 127 yards. On the other hand, one thorn in Carolina's side was the less-than-spectacular play of QB P.J. Walker, who threw two interceptions.
The loss dropped Detroit's record to 4-6. The win improved Carolina's record to 4-7.
The Lions will take on the Houston Texans at 12:30 p.m. ET on Thursday at home. As for the Panthers, they will face off against the Minnesota Vikings at 1 p.m. ET next week at U.S. Bank Stadium.
