The Colts have enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge the Carolina Panthers at 4:05 p.m. ET on Sunday at Bank of America Stadium. The Colts are expected to win (but not by much) so they better bring their A-game into this one.
Indianapolis traveled a rocky road last season, and unfortunately for them the road hasn't gotten any smoother. They fell 38-27 to the Saints on Sunday.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Gardner Minshew II, who threw for 213 yards and two touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Zack Moss, who rushed for 66 yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Carolina finally caught a break after six consecutive losses. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 15-13 victory over the Texans on Sunday. The win was just what Carolina needed coming off of a 42-21 loss in their prior matchup.
Bryce Young was the offensive standout of the matchup as he threw for 235 yards and a touchdown.
New Orleans' victory bumped their season record to 4-4 while Indianapolis' defeat dropped theirs to 3-5.
The Panthers are hoping to beat the odds on Sunday, as the experts think they're headed for a loss. This contest will be their eighth straight as the underdogs (so far over this stretch they are 1-5-1 against the spread).
