Game Recap
What a game for RB Dalvin Cook. Cook rushed for three TDs and 163 yards on 30 carries in addition to snatching one receiving TD as the Minnesota Vikings beat the Green Bay Packers 28-22 Sunday. One of the most thrilling moments was Cook's 50-yard TD reception down the left side of the field in the third quarter. Cook's sharp performance set his single-game rushing touchdown high for the season.
Despite the loss, Green Bay got a solid performance out of WR Davante Adams, who snatched three receiving TDs. QB Aaron Rodgers had a good game, too, finishing with three touchdowns.
The game brought the Vikings to 2-5 and dropped Green Bay to a mirror-image 5-2.
Minnesota will take on the Detroit Lions at 1 p.m. ET next week at U.S. Bank Stadium. Detroit took a loss in their last matchup and are no doubt out to reverse Minnesota's good fortune. As for Green Bay, they will face off against the San Francisco 49ers at 8:20 p.m. ET on Thursday at Levi's Stadium.
