Packers release eight players

The Green Bay Packers have released the following players from their roster in an effort to get down to 53 players: OL Garth Gerhart, OL Kevin Hughes, S David Fulton, CB Loyce Means, OT Andrew Datko, FB Jonathan Amosa, WR Ty Walker and LB Donte Savage.
These players may or may not get resigned to the team's practice squad. They could also end up on another NFL roster down the line.
