NFL Week 13 recap: Final scores, top highlights, injury fallout and key takeaways from Sunday's action

Week 13 in the NFL got off to a rollicking start with three Thanksgiving games and a Black Friday matinee. The underdog was victorious in every matchup, with the Packers, Cowboys, Bengals and Bears all picking up crucial victories entering the final stretch of the regular season.

The upsets continued into the early window of games on Sunday, with the most notable being the Panthers forcing three turnovers against NFL MVP front-runner Matthew Stafford and shocking the Rams, 31-28. The Texans also took down the Colts, further clogging up the AFC South standings with five weeks to play.

The late window was largely uneventful. The Vikings were shut out for the first time since 2007 with undrafted rookie Max Brosmer under center, the Chargers had no trouble taking care of the lowly Raiders, and the Bills beat up on an already injured Aaron Rodgers in a decisive victory in Pittsburgh.

Below you'll find every big moment from Sunday in our one-stop shop for Week 13. Scores, highlights, injuries, analysis, notable stats -- you name it. We covered the entire slate from the first kickoff to the final whistle of the late games.

Bills beat Steelers on the road

FINAL: Bills 26, Steelers 7

After a sleepy first half, the Bills woke up after the break and took control of the game. A strip-sack for Joey Bosa was recovered by Christian Benford, who returned it for a touchdown -- and Buffalo was off to the races from there. Benford also had an interception, while Josh Allen threw a touchdown pass to Keon Coleman and ran for another score, breaking a tie for the all-time record for quarterback rushing touchdowns that he held along with Cam Newton. Buffalo improved to 8-4 and jumped back into playoff position, while Pittsburgh is now behind the Ravens in the AFC North despite matching 6-6 records.

Chargers take out Raiders

FINAL: Chargers 31, Raiders 14

This game wasn't particularly close for most of the afternoon. The Chargers ran for over 190 yards, with Kimani Vidal leading the way and Jaret Patterson chipping in. Justin Herbert briefly left with a hand injury but returned to throw a touchdown pass to Ladd McConkey and finish out the game. Brock Bowers had both scores for the Raiders, who mostly looked just as hapless offensively under new coordinator Greg Olson as they did under Chip Kelly. Geno Smith was sacked five times and they just 3.4 yards per play.

Jaret Patterson touchdown

Late 4Q: Chargers 31, Raiders 14

The Chargers added an insurance score late in their game against the Raiders, and it is (technically) the fifth-string running back taking it into the end zone for the touchdown from a couple yards out. It's his first rushing touchdown in four years.

Seahawks shut out Vikings

FINAL: Seahawks 26, Vikings 0

Seattle totally dominated Minnesota throughout the game, forcing five turnovers, including four interceptions by rookie quarterback Max Brosmer. The Seattle offense didn't even play all that well, repeatedly settling for field goals, but the Vikings' offense was essentially dead in the water throughout the game, so it didn't matter. Seattle is now 9-3 and behind the Rams in the NFC West race only by virtue of the head-to-head tiebreaker. Minnesota is 4-8 and playing for draft positioning the rest of the way.

BROCK BOWERS IS SUPERHUMAN

Mid 4Q: Chargers 24, Raiders 14

What a ridiculous catch from the second-year tight end. He's holding off the defender with his right hand and just reaches out with his left and snags it out of the air for the score. It's his second touchdown of the day and second multi-touchdown game of the season. And now it's a two-score game out in Los Angeles.

Josh Allen sets the record

Early 4Q: Bills 23, Steelers 7

Allen just rushed for a touchdown for the 76th time in his career, breaking a tie with Cam Newton for the most career rushing touchdowns by a quarterback. It's also the 39th time in his career that he has both thrown and run for a touchdown in the same game.

PICK THEN FUMBLE!

Late 4Q: Seahawks 26, Vikings 0

Max Brosmer threw his fourth interception of the day, with Riq Woolen undercutting the deep route and coming away with an easy pick. But Woolen tried to cut back and make his way through a crowd on the long return, and Jalen Nailor both forced and recovered a fumble to get the Vikings the ball back.

Charbonnet puts the game away

Mid 4Q: Seahawks 26, Vikings 0

Seattle finally gets its first offensive touchdown of the game with this run by Zach Charbonnet. With a four-score lead midway through the fourth quarter, this one is all but over for the Seahawks -- especially considering the way their defense is playing today.

Ladd McConkey find the end zone

Late 3Q: Chargers 21, Raiders 7

L.A. extends its lead over division rival Vegas with this second-reaction play from Justin Herbert and his No. 1 receiver. Nice job to come back to the ball and stay inbounds along the sideline.

Another Ernest Jones INT

Early 4Q: Seahawks 19, Vikings 0

Jones comes away with his second interception of the game on this tipped pass intended for Justin Jefferson. Just a really rough day at the office for Minnesota's offense in Max Brosmer's first career start.

Fourth down touchdown

Mid 3Q: Bills 17, Steelers 7

The Bills took advantage of the Rudolph turnover with a touchdown pass from Josh Allen to Keon Coleman. Buffalo had fourth-and-goal and decided to go for it rather than kick a field goal, and now holds a two-score lead. Coleman had been inactive for the last two games for disciplinary reasons.

Mason Rudolph PICKED

Early 3Q: Bills 10, Steelers 7

It's Christian Benford with his second takeaway of the half already. He had the fumble return for a touchdown on Pittsburgh's opening drive of the second half, and now he comes away with an interception on the second drive of the half. Buffalo's defense has made up for the offense's two first-half giveaways.

Kimani Vidal house call

Mid 4Q: Chargers 14, Raiders 7

We missed this one a little earlier. Vidal has done a great job filling in for the injured Omarion Hampton, who was still not ready this week to return from injured reserve. Career-long run by Vidal right here.

Max Brosmer PICKED

Late 3Q: Seahawks 19, Vikings 0

Coby Bryant comes away with the interception for the Seahawks this time. It's the third turnover of the day for the Vikings and the second pick thrown by Brosmer. He just totally overshot his receiver over the middle of the field.

STRIP-SACK-SIX!

Early 3Q: Bills 10, Steelers 7

On the opening play of the second half, the Bills came up with an absolutely massive play. It's Joey Bosa with the strip-sack on Aaron Rodgers and Christian Benford with the scoop and score. Bills take their first lead of the game.

Aaron Jones FUMBLE

Mid 3Q: Seahawks 16, Vikings 0

It's another turnover for the Vikings. This time Demarcus Lawrence stripped Aaron Jones from behind after the Vikings moved into Seahawks territory and looked like they could potentially drive for their first score of the game. Seattle could essentially put the game away with a score on the next drive.

Brock Bowers hits the end zone

Late 2Q: Raiders 7, Chargers 7

Really nice drive by the Raiders to come back and tie this game against the Chargers. Ashton Jeanty ran well, Jack Bech made a key catch and Bowers had a long reception to get them down to the goal line and then this catch for the game-tying score. He was wide the heck open in the back of the end zone.

James Cook FUMBLE!

Mid 2Q: Bills 0, Steelers 0

Just a really tough break for the Bills here, with Cook seemingly banging the ball off his own knee and fumbling it. Sets the Steelers up with good field position to try to take the first lead of the game.

Geno PICKED!

Mid 2Q: Chargers 7, Raiders 0

Right after the Herbert interception at the goal line, Geno Smith tried to float a fade to Donte Thornton up the left sideline and things did not go well. The ball got tipped up into the air by the defensive back and Tony Jefferson came down with it for an interception of his own. It's Geno's 14th interception of the year, tied for the most in the NFL. Disaster for the Raiders.

Herbert PICKED!

Mid 2Q: Chargers 7, Raiders 0

The Chargers had a chance to go up two scores with a goal-to-go opportunity but Herbert left his throw too far inside and got it intercepted by Kyu Blu Kelly. Really nice play by Kelly to go full extension and get both of his feet down inbounds on the pick.

PICK SIX!

Late 2Q: Seahawks 10, Vikings 0

Oh boy. What a mistake by Max Brosmer in his first career start. Shortly after the Darnold fumble, the Vikings faced a fourth-and-1 at the 4-yard line. Brosmer got pressured almost immediately and rolled out to his right, then just flipped the ball up in the air while trying to avoid a sack, and Ernest Jones picked it off and returned it for a Seahawks touchdown. What a missed opportunity for Minnesota.

STRIP SACK!

Late 2Q: Seahawks 3, Vikings 0

The Vikings are absolutely dominating the Seahawks up front. The Vikings have four sacks already in the first half, and they got a strip-sack right here from Dallas Turner, plus the recovery by Jalen Redmond to set the Vikings up in scoring position.

Darnold could be seen on the Fox broadcast heading into the blue medical tent after the Seahawks' latest drive, which ended when he was sacked on third down near the goal line. He later exited the tent and appeared to dap up a teammate, indicating that he's good to go the rest of the way. If that's not the case, we'll update you here.
