Live scores, highlights and updates from the Lions vs. Packers football game
Game Recap
The Detroit Lions weren't able to make up for their loss to the Green Bay Packers from their previous meeting in September. Detroit came up short against Green Bay on Sunday, falling 31-24. The Lions haven't found any success against the Packers since Dec. 30 of 2018, this defeat making it four in a row.
It was another big night for Green Bay's QB Aaron Rodgers, who passed for three TDs and 290 yards on 33 attempts in addition to punching in one rushing touchdown. Near the top of the highlight reel was Rodgers' 56-yard TD bomb to WR Davante Adams in the first quarter.
No one had a standout game offensively for Detroit, but they got scores from RB Kerryon Johnson, TE T.J. Hockenson, and RB D'Andre Swift. QB Matthew Stafford ended up with a passer rating of 140.60.
Detroit's overall record fell to 5-8. The Packers' win brought them up to 10-3.
The Lions will square off against the Tennessee Titans at 1 p.m. ET next Sunday at Nissan Stadium. Tennessee is 5-3 after wins this year, and Detroit is 4-3 after losses. Green Bay will take on the Carolina Panthers at 8:15 p.m. ET next Saturday at home. Unlike Green Bay, Carolina will be stumbling in off of a loss.
