This Sunday, the New York Jets are hoping to patch up the holes in a defense that has allowed an average of 30.57 points per game. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Jacksonville Jaguars at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday at MetLife Stadium. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W.'

New York was first on the board but had to settle for second at the end of their matchup against the Miami Dolphins last week. The Jets came up short against Miami, falling 31-24. No one had a standout game offensively for New York, but they got scores from WR Braxton Berrios and CB Brandin Echols. QB Zach Wilson ended up with a passer rating of 118.60.

Meanwhile, Jacksonville came up short against the Houston Texans last week, falling 30-16. A silver lining for Jacksonville was the play of RB James Robinson, who punched in one rushing touchdown. Robinson's performance made up for a slower contest against the Tennessee Titans two weeks ago.

Most of the squad's points came courtesy of special teams, which contributed ten. K Matthew Wright delivered a perfect 3-for-3 game.

The losses put the Jets at 3-11 and the Jaguars at 2-12. Neither team can make the playoffs, so they're playing for draft order now.
