The Redskins have reasons to unload WR Jabar Gaffney. He's 31, only averaged 2.7 yards after the catch -- a major point of emphasis by the coaching staff with all their WRs -- and he'd save them approximately $2.6 million against the salary cap. They also signed WRs Pierre Garcon and Josh Morgan in free agency and anticipate big things from second-year WR Leonard Hankerson.
