Monday NBA betting preview 

The New York Knicks are off to a 3-3 start, but are coming off an emphatic 128-116 victory over the previously undefeated Chicago Bulls. Guard Jalen Brunson stuffed the stat sheet in that win, finishing with 31 points, five rebounds and three assists. Meanwhile, the Wizards are 1-5 this season and have lost nine straight against New York. The Knicks are favored by 12.5 points, according to the latest NBA odds, and the over/under is 234.5 points. 

The Los Angeles Lakers are 5-1 in their last six games, but the lone loss came against the Portland Trail Blazers. The Lakers will look for revenge on Monday night when they travel to take on Portland at 10 p.m. ET. An early-season star-studded showdown takes center stage in the college basketball world when No. 3 Florida takes on No. 13 Arizona at T-Mobile Arena on Monday at 7 p.m. ET.
