Sunday NFL betting preview

The Indianapolis Colts don't need the respect of NFL fans to go on a deep postseason run, but if they win on Sunday, the majority of NFL fans who have questioned whether their start is legitimate or not will likely end their hesitation. The Colts (8-2) travel to play the Kansas City Chiefs, the model NFL franchise over the last few years, and would move into a tie for the best record in the AFC with a victory. The Chiefs at just 5-5 is arguably as surprising as the Colts at 8-2, which makes Sunday a crucial matchup for Kansas City to remain in the postseason race. The Chiefs are favored by 3.5 points in the latest Week 12 NFL odds at Fanatics Sportsbook in a 1 p.m. ET kickoff.

The 4 p.m. slate features four games, including the Jacksonville Jaguars looking to carry their momentum off a 35-6 win over the Chargers last week. The Jaguars are 3-point favorites against the Arizona Cardinals at Fanatics in a 4:05 p.m. ET start, with the Jaguars entering at 6-4, including two wins over their last three games. The Cardinals (3-7) have lost four of five games started by Jacoby Brissett, but the offense has unquestionably been more effective, with Arizona scoring at least 22 points in all five games. The over/under is set at 47.5 points at Fanatics.

The Dallas Cowboys host the Philadelphia Eagles at 4:25 p.m. ET in one of the top games of the week. The Eagles defeated the Cowboys, 24-20, in the 2025 NFL Kickoff Game, but the Cowboys have won six of their last seven head-to-head matchups in Dallas. Despite the Eagles entering 8-2 with a 3.5-game lead in the NFC East, there continue to be reports and comments about players being less than thrilled with the team's play. Meanwhile, Dallas, despite being 4-5-1, has the No. 2 scoring offense in the NFL at 29.6 ppg, so if it becomes an offensive shootout, that could play to the Cowboys' advantage. The Eagles are favored by 3.5 points at Fanatics Sportsbook. Click here to sign up for Fanatics Sportsbook to bet and get up to $2,000 in No Sweat Bets in FanCash at Fanatics.
