The Colts have re-signed rookie cornerback Tevin Mitchel and waived safety Robert Smith, per the Indianapolis Star.

Mitchel is out for the year with a shoulder injury. He was placed on the waived/injured list Wednesday after having been drafted in the sixth round.

Smith is an undrafted rookie who played at Clemson.
