The Vikings now have to deal with another star quarterback in Justin Herbert, who is looking to recapture some of his early form. Herbert started the year throwing five touchdowns and no picks in the first two games, but has thrown eight touchdowns and six interceptions in the subsequent five games. The Chargers are also looking to shore things up defensively. They led the league in scoring defense a year ago but now sit 18th. The SportsLine Projection Model sees Minnesota covering the 3.5-point spread as underdogs in 52% of simulations.

The Thunder won their season opener in double overtime against the Rockets and now head to Indianapolis to face a Pacers team which looks much different from the group which made the Finals. Myles Turner is now with the Milwaukee Bucks and Tyrese Haliburton is done for the year with an Achilles injury, so Pascal Siakam, Andrew Nembhard and Bennedict Mathurin will have a bigger burden for Indiana this year. The Thunder are 7.5-point favorites in the latest SportsLine consensus odds for this contest and they cover in 53% of model simulations.
