Browns vs. Texans: Live updates, score, results, highlights, for Sunday's NFL game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Browns vs. Texans football game
The Houston Texans are staring down a pretty large 12.5-point disadvantage in the spread for Sunday's matchup. They will head out on the road to face off against the Cleveland Browns at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday at FirstEnergy Stadium. If the 10-7 final from the last time they met is any indication, this game will be decided by the defense.
Houston didn't have too much trouble with the Jacksonville Jaguars at home last week as they won 37-21. Houston QB Tyrod Taylor was slinging it as he passed for two TDs and 291 yards on 33 attempts in addition to picking up 40 yards on the ground. Taylor ended up with a passer rating of 157.70.
Special teams collected 13 points for the Texans. K Joey Slye delivered a perfect 3-for-3 game.
There was early excitement for Cleveland after they claimed the game's first points last week, but it was the Kansas City Chiefs who ended up claiming the real prize. Cleveland didn't finish too far behind, but the squad still lost 33-29 to Kansas City. The losing side was boosted by RB Nick Chubb, who punched in two rushing touchdowns.
Houston's victory lifted them to 1-0 while Cleveland's loss dropped them down to 0-1. These two teams might be coming in a bit winded after having run the length of the field multiple times in their most recent games.
